ABOUT US

My name is Marie-Eve, and I am the face behind ‘’Better with a Bernedoodle’’. I am a wife, mom and Registered Nurse. I married the best and most supportive husband ever, Adam (the one who supports all my crazy ideas) who is also a career firefighter. We have 3 kids who are 9, 8 and 5.5 years old, and they absolutely LOVE to help out with the puppies. From delivery day until the day they go home, they are right there with me, helping me with the every day tasks. I wouldn't be able to raise those little heart healers if my kids and husband weren't around.. it truly is a family thing! 

My medical background as a Registered Nurse has also been very helpful throughout this journey. Being comfortable with any medical terms/issues is super important when you're raising puppies and taking care of pregnant mamas. I get to pick my own hours (yes, I have the most amazing jobs in the world), in order to be able to give the best possible care to our furry crew! 

Why a dog breeder? 

I've been fortunate to have a dad who also raised a few litters of puppies when I was a little girl. He taught me everything he knew, before he passed away in 2019.
Shortly after, that's when we decided we would keep his legacy alive and start our own breeding journey! Now, we are more than privileged to be able to bring little heart healers into this world!
