Our mamas well-being is our top priority, and our goal is to make sure they are living their best life, whether it's with us, or in a guardian family!
Penny
Penny, 70lbs, is an AKC registered Bernese Mountain dog, all the way from Pennsylvania. She comes from 2 fully health tested parents (genetic, hips, elbows, heart, eyes, thyroid). Penny is a perfect example of her breed : sweet as pie, very goofy and would do absolutely anything for cuddles.. what else could you ask for?
Penny's hips are considered better than average for her breed, and we couldn't be happier!

June
June is our sweet Phoebe's sister! She is an 86lbs charmer. She is generally calm and so sweet. Her favorite people are kids, hands down, even if she sometimes thinks she only weighs 5lbs. She is as goofy as can be, but with her being so food motivated, it makes training easier for sure!
June lives in an amazing guardian home with her sister Phoebe.

Phoebe
Phoebe is a lovebug who just wants to be up and personal with everyone, and sneak in all the cuddles she can. At 90lbs, she doesn't know what personal space is, and we love her just the way she is! She is extremely smart and a real social butterfly. She loves everyone she meets and we can already tell that she will be the most amazing mom, as her mother instincts are already so strong!
Phoebe lives in a loving guardian home with her sister June.

Blue
Blue is the sweet daughter of our amazing girl Penny + superstar stud Bodhi. She is an F1 Bernedoodle, who weighs 45lbs. We've been waiting a LONG time to keep back a medium Bernedoodle and Blue sure didn't disappoint. Everyone says how sweet and calm she is for a puppy! She absolutely adores children, is extremely smart, and is always a superstar when she goes out in public. Blue lives in an incredible guardian home and goes EVERYWHERE with them. Camping, hiking, stores, restaurants.. and so much more! She even goes to "work" often with her dad. We cannot wait until she can become a mama for the first time!

Hazel
Hazel is a beautiful UKC registered phantom brindle pointed Standard Poodle, expected to mature to at around 45-50lbs. She is actually our boy Mac's full sister, from a different litter (we love Mac so much that we couldn't resist when we saw this sweet girl).
She is sweet as pie, very calm for a puppy, has just the right touch of independence around the house, and loves everyone she meets. She is the perfect addition to our program and has all the qualities we strive for!
Hazel lives in our home with us, and is such a joy to have around. She absolutely loves kids and other dogs!
We are insanely happy with her PennHIP results (even more so at such a young age), scoring top 5% for her breed!!!

Millie
Millie was raised right here in our home! She is absolute perfection and the daughter of our sweet mama Daisy, and daddy Mac, making her an F1 Bernedoodle. She is expected to mature between 55-60lbs.
From the very beginning, we knew we wanted to keep a puppy from Daisy before she retired, as she is everything we ever dreamed of in a mama dog. Millie was selected from a litter of 8 puppies (including 6 girls), not only for her stunning looks (I mean, she sure is beautiful!), but also for her incredible temperament. She is such a sweet little doll while also being confident and outgoing. She loves everyone she meets and simply wants to shower them with love.
Millie lives in the most amazing guardian home in Fredericton, NB. She has become the gym mascot, as her guardian mom owns a fitness studio, and the clients absolutely love seeing and cuddling her every day!
We are so very hopeful for this sweet girl. With parents as exceptional as Daisy and Mac, we know she has all the ingredients to be something truly special.

Milly
This sweet girl was also born right here in our home to our beautiful mama, Penny, and daddy, Bodhi. She is a medium F1 Bernedoodle expected to mature between 40–45 lbs.
Our goal was to keep another smaller female from Penny and Bodhi. As soon as this sweet girl made her grand entrance, I instantly fell in love! As it turned out, she was the only girl in a litter of 9, but she was exactly what I had hoped for.
She definitely stood out in her litter! She's confident, social, fun, incredibly smart, and has just the right touch of independence... all the qualities we love in a future mama.
We now have two girls named Milly/Millie in our program! When we chose our two guardian families, they both came up with the same name just one day apart, without knowing the other family had chosen it too! We had a good laugh, and since they don't live together, we were more than happy to keep the name for both!
Milly also lives in an amazing guardian home and is the perfect homework buddy to three homeschooled teenagers, who have so much time and love to give her. We truly couldn't be happier with her family and are so, so excited to hopefully meet her future mini Bernedoodles one day!

Our retired mamas
"Better with a Bernedoodle" started over 7 years ago, with my parents's dogs, Maya (Bernese) and Pablo (Poodle). It was always my dad's dream to produce Bernedoodles, but sadly, he passed away before his first litter was born and never got a chance to meet them. I always knew I would be involved right from the start, but when I helped deliver that first puppy, I knew this was my calling and it was not going to be a "one and done".
We then decided to keep puppies back from these two amazing parents, so Lucy came in first, and then Molly, about a year later.
They each gave us beautiful litters of F1b Bernedoodles, and are now living their best retired life, right here in our house with us!

NOW ENJOYING RETIREMENT!
Daisy is our 82lbs purebred Bernese Mountain dog. She is a dream of a dog! We often say she has the whole package, because she really does! Such a sweet, super calm, cuddly girl. Everyone who meets her say how perfect she is, and we couldn't be more in love with her! We are also very happy to say she scored much better than average for her breed on her PennHIP evaluation, which is considered as excellent!
